D.I.Y. playpen

We decided to make playpen for you since you started to pull up as the selling cost is almost 10,000 Baht for the finised playpen. However, this project has started since March and end in April. Because we really have no time to do and it takes lots of steps to complete. The playpen size is about 150cm.X170cm. and height 60cm. and it costs only 1,500 Baht including the pipe cutter.Your papa is the one to calculated size and all the steps. We use white water pipe as it safe for you.

Cutting and take to price tag off

What are you doing, papa?

Mirin helped complete the playpen :)

  1. Wow! i hope we could do this also for our little Dani! She's 7 months old now and starting to crawl, I've been looking for playpen/play yards but they are expensive. I'm so glad I found your blog.

What adhesive did you use to attach each pipes?

    Thank you!

    1. Dear Divina, You just attach the pipe together and use heavy hammer to help. I didn't use any glue or other adhesive for these. :)

    1. Yes, I use short pieces for top and bottom. Well, I think I have to write down the size but I forget all the calculations for 150X170 cm! Anyway,I have the calculation for size 2X2 metres.
      1. Cut the short pipes size 8 cm 152 pieces
      2. Cut the long pipes size 57 cm 72 pieces
      3. three ways pipe 144 pieces
      4. three ways elbow pipe 8 pieces

Then just attach together, no glue or other adhesive, just use the heavy hammer.

When you finish, you will get 63cm high playpen!

      Hope this help! :)
